Transforming Patient Care with Modern Design and Innovation
ARMC’s new patient care tower brings enhanced care and comfort with 55 private rooms, a state-of-the-art ICU, expanded operating rooms, and an upgraded Emergency Department.
The design team worked closely with ARMC to address the hospital’s aging infrastructure, upgrading the Central Utility Plant with new systems for steam, chilled water, power, and medical gas. They also integrated advanced air handling units and efficient air distribution to improve comfort and performance.
Strategic phasing ensured hospital operations continued smoothly during construction. Despite supply chain challenges, the team fast-tracked certain elements and coordinated closely with contractors to keep the project on schedule.
Notable features include EV charging stations, a permanent Helipad, and backup power generators, all designed to enhance patient care and facility reliability.
The ARMC won the 2024 Cogence Drive Award, Large Project Category.
