MetroHealth Medical Center’s Critical Care Pavilion (CCP) Expansion adds 85 ICU beds and two floors over its existing CCP.
Patients will stay in private ICU rooms that were designed for comfort, consistency, and flexibility. The rooms provide plenty of space for visitors. They are same-handed, allowing staff to maintain a consistent workflow from room to room. They are also acuity-adaptable.
Because MetroHealth is the only CDC-designated Ebola Treatment Center in Ohio, two patient rooms are federally-funded Special Disease Care Units, specifically designed for patients with highly infectious diseases.
