Power distribution studies give building owners vital information about the strengths and weaknesses of their building’s electrical systems. Plus, they help building owners achieve compliance with NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
When Karpinski conducts a power distribution study, we use leading power system analysis software to review a facility’s electrical systems. Our study consists of up to three parts (an arc flash study, short circuit study, and electrical system coordination study), depending on the facility’s needs. We analyze the electrical system data, report the results, and provide recommendations for improving equipment safety. With an arc flash study, we also provide NFPA 70E- and OSHA-compliant arc flash warning labels for each piece of electrical equipment modeled in the study.
Armed with this information, building owners can create a safer environment for workers and protect their electrical equipment from damage.
