With its new Rainbow Center for Women and Children, University Hospitals offers patients comfortable, accessible care in a highly sustainable environment. The Center provides primary and specialty care, dental and vision care, and wrap-around services.
University Hospitals wanted the Center to be a sustainable, high-performance building. The architect, engineers and construction manager came together early in the project for intensive, up-front planning and design. With their focus on building performance and sustainability, the Center ultimately earned LEED Platinum certification. It is the first LEED Platinum certified healthcare facility in Ohio.
