Library addition prioritizes accessibility

With Steubenville Main Library’s 10,000 SF, 2-level addition, a ground-level entry and an elevator now make the library accessible to all patrons. The addition incorporates study rooms, a community room, reading rooms, and a children’s area. An atrium connects the addition to the historic original, and a garage houses the library’s bookmobile. The new space replaces a previous annex and garage. The project also included HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and technology upgrades in select areas of the existing building.
