Behind the Scenes, Ahead of the Game: Guardians Front Office Renovation
As part of a larger transformation of Progressive Field, the Cleveland Guardians reimagined their front office with a full renovation and expansion of their administrative building. The project added a fifth floor—gaining 10,000 square feet—and completely reworked the existing interiors to better support how their teams work today.
The new space features open, collaborative work areas, flexible meeting rooms, and informal gathering spots designed to bring people together. Glass walls and partitions bring in natural light, creating a brighter, more welcoming environment. Infrastructure upgrades included new mechanical systems, energy-efficient lighting, and improved security. A highlight of the project is the new tech-enabled draft room, built to support high-stakes decision-making.
Construction was carefully timed to avoid disrupting the 2023 and 2024 baseball seasons. This renovation not only modernizes the workplace—it sets the tone for the next chapter of the franchise’s evolution.
