A new academic home for future osteopathic physicians.

Xavier University is developing a new College of Osteopathic Medicine facility, set to welcome its inaugural class in 2027. The building will serve as the academic and administrative hub for the program, bringing together classrooms, lecture halls, clinical and research labs, faculty offices, and student support spaces. Designed to foster collaboration and innovation, the facility will provide a modern environment for hands-on medical education.

Karpinski Engineering is providing commissioning services to help ensure building systems operate as intended. The team is developing and executing a detailed testing plan, documenting performance, and verifying compliance with the Contract Documents. With a focus on the building automation system, Karpinski is establishing monitoring and trending requirements, integrating automation into functional performance testing, and conducting ongoing reviews of energy use and system performance to support long-term efficiency and reliability.
