Sustainable space for patient care
Marymount Hospital’s Surgery Center expansion and renovation added a 45,000-SF, three-story Surgery Center and renovated 30,000 SF of existing space. The two phase, $45-million project provided larger operating rooms and advanced surgical technology.
Phase I included seven new operating rooms, one procedure room, and a sterile processing department. Phase II included renovation of existing clinical space, the addition of two endoscopy rooms, a bronchoscopy room, and space for 18 private pre- and post-operative patient rooms. Designed with patients and families in mind, the Surgery Center features a two-story atrium and family waiting areas.
