New fire station supports township’s firefighters

Granville Township’s new 19,500 SF fire station replaces an outdated facility. It features five drive-through bays and living quarters house as many as 10 firefighters. Workspaces include offices, a classroom training room, a physical fitness training room, and a training mezzanine.

The MEP design includes systems specially suited to the fire station’s needs, including full-station backup power, a carbon monoxide exhaust system for the vehicle bays, and dedicated units with pressurization to help keep the gear storage area safe from contaminants.
