Karpinski Engineering welcomes Brian Tenney to the firm as Senior Commissioning Project Manager.

Tenney comes to Karpinski from the field of building automation and systems operation. He has worked with clients in the healthcare, education, industrial, and corporate sectors.

“Brian has an amazing understanding of how building systems work from both a design and operations perspective,” said Joe Hofstetter, PE, CEM, LEED AP, Principal and Director of Building Performance and Sustainability. “He knows why things go wrong, and he knows how to make them right. He has a solid track record of getting his clients’ buildings to perform effectively and efficiently.”

As Senior Commissioning Project Manager, Tenney will apply his experience to help clients meet their building performance goals. He will provide commissioning for new construction, as well as energy audits, retro-commissioning, and existing building commissioning. He will also support ongoing best practices and continuous improvement for the firm’s design teams.
