Karpinski Engineering is proud to announce that Jennifer Wahl, CPSM, Director of Corporate Marketing Strategy, has been named a Fellow of the Society of Marketing Professional Services for 2023. The SMPS Fellow program honors outstanding individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the profession of marketing and business development in the A/E/C industry and society.

Of the 7,000 SMPS members, less than 150 of them achieve Fellow status. Members who have 15 years’ experience as a marketer and/or business developer in the A/E/C industries, have been an active SMPS member for 10 of the previous 15 consecutive years, and who have held a current Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation for a minimum of five years are eligible to apply for the SMPS Fellows Recognition Program.

Jenn is now a part of this specially selected group of professional service marketing leaders. Fellows serve as a resource to the SMPS chapters and the Society; they provide insight, mentorship, and advance the profession of professional services marketing throughout the industry.

A member of SMPS for 23 years, Jenn is one of the founders of the Northeast Ohio SMPS Chapter. “I am most proud of the growth and longevity of the chapter. What started with a group of six committed SMPS members who trekked south two hours each month for programs, has grown into a sustainable chapter with continuously strong leadership,” said Jenn Wahl.

Throughout her SMPS tenure, Jenn has served on the board of directors’ multiple times, including two terms as chapter president, and has also served on multiple SMPS committees. She co-founded the annual SMPS Rock ‘N Bowl Fundraiser, which supports local industry mentorship programs throughout Northeast Ohio.

Jenn has been a marketer in the A/E/C industry for over 25 years and has worked in all three areas of the industry. As the Director of Corporate Marketing Strategy for Karpinski Engineering, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, skill, and passion to driving the firm’s strategy direction for the last 9 years. “Jenn has made a tremendously positive impact on how we do marketing and BD at Karpinski, and her connections and resources through SMPS have contributed to her success” said Jim Karpinski, President of Karpinski Engineering.
