Four Promotions Recognize Staff in Electrical, Technology, and Finance & Human Resources Departments

Karpinski Engineering announces four promotions: three in the Electrical Engineering Department, and one in the Finance & Human Resources Department. The promotions are:
- Dave Woytek to Senior Technical Manager, Electrical
- Deb Coch to Administrative Coordinator
- Christian Pastor to Electrical Project Engineer
- Andrew Seeholzer to Technology Engineer
Dave Woytek has been promoted to Senior Technical Manager, Electrical. At KE, Senior Technical Manager is the highest-level technical position a staff member can achieve.
Senior Technical Managers focus on project production. They manage design teams and work with clients from a project’s conceptual stage to its completion.
“In his career, Dave has seen a lot, and we really trust his technical expertise,” said Principal Brian David, PE. “He has proven time and time again that he will figure out the details and get the job done. He’s the kind of technical leader that younger staff should strive to be.”
Woytek joined KE in 2010, and he serves clients in the corporate, higher education, and cultural arts sectors. He earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University. He is a Certified Level I Thermographer (Infraspection Institute) and a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society and ASIS.
Deb Coch has been promoted to Administrative Coordinator, supporting the Finance and Human Resources team.
“Deb is the go-to person for so many things,” said Senior Accountant Jessica Hanes, MBA. “She’s a very good problem-solver. If she doesn’t have the solution, she’ll find out who does.”
Coch joined KE in 2016. She has an extensive background in administrative support, including finance and payroll.
Christian Pastor has been promoted to Electrical Project Engineer.
“Beyond his technical skills, Christian is responsible and detail-oriented,” said Principal Rocco Gallo, LEED AP. “He has a real desire to do quality work.”
Pastor joined KE in 2017. He previously worked in manufacturing for the automotive industry, where he earned his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
Andrew Seeholzer has been promoted to Technology Engineer.
Associate Ryan Smith, RCDD, described Seeholzer as humble, patient, and a good listener.
“Andrew has really come through for the technology department,” Smith said. “I’m excited to see him grow.”
Seeholzer joined KE in 2016 while studying for his M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Cleveland State University. He completed the program this past spring. He previously worked in education as an interventional specialist, after earning his B.S. in Education from The Ohio State University. Seeholzer is a member of IEEE.
