Rich Haas is at his best when he’s navigating through a complex, technically sophisticated project. Whether it’s an architecturally significant historic renovation or mission-critical infrastructure upgrade, Rich likes being on the front lines of the problem-solving process. He enjoys the challenge of sifting through the different factors influencing a project in order to make design decisions.

While Rich chose engineering as a profession, he has a background in art. He appreciates the creativity required to incorporate engineering design into the architectural vision, and he has a deep respect for the craftsmanship of construction.
