Project Description

The new Lorain High School is the final building in the school district’s 14-building replacement initiative. It serves 2,000+ students in three wings. LHS was designed for LEED Silver Certification.

Opportunities for students abound. Students can pursue not only academics, but a variety of career, technical, music, and arts programming. The school’s three buildings house:

  • Academic, music, and art rooms
  • Career and technical education spaces, including auto tech, welding, pre-engineering, culinary arts, medical, graphics, and video production
  • An 850-seat Performing Arts Center
  • A gym with two college-sized basketball courts
  • A Media Center
