Michael James (Jim) Karpinski is the Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Board at Karpinski Engineering. He has more than fifty years mechanical engineering and business management experience specializing in quality assurance. With the belief in rigorous mentoring and staff education, Jim is preparing the next generation of Karpinski Engineering staff to follow his legacy toward quality engineering. This commitment extends to assuring the Company remains true to its mission to provide individualized engineering services of the highest possible quality.
Jim attended the Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University. He is licensed in the State of Ohio and is an active member of ASHRAE and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio. Jim served as an engineering company peer reviewer for the American Association of engineers. In 2007, Jim was inducted into the Cleveland Engineering Society Hall of Fame for "outstanding dedication to the profession and significant contribution to the advancement of the field of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning."
Jim retired in January 2018.
