KE Harvest for Hunger Campaign Raises More Than $6,000

The results are in. Karpinski Engineering’s participation in the 2013 Harvest for Hunger campaign raised more than $6,000 for the Cleveland Foodbank, providing about 24,308 nutritious meals to hungry families in the Cleveland area.

Karpinski Engineering kicked off its Harvest for Hunger campaign on March 5, with a luncheon at the Cleveland office. During the month of March, our employees participated in a variety of fundraising activities – including a crock-pot cook-off, jeans days, NCAA brackets, a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast, and a silent auction.

Our firm has participated in this annual campaign for several years, raising almost $41,000 since 2008. Supporting local and national programs, such as Harvest for Hunger, the Go Red for Women Campaign, and the Red Cross, allows KE to give back – an important endeavor that not only promotes community involvement, but also unites our employees in support of a common cause.
