KE Raises Almost $400 for Go Red for Women Initiative

Recently concluding its campaign, Karpinski Engineering raised almost $400 for the Go Red for Women initiative, an American Heart Association mission to fight heart disease in women.

During the month of February, KE employees were eligible to wear jeans each Friday with a minimum donation of $10 to the Go Red for Women initiative.

A bake sale held at KE’s Cleveland office generated more than $100.

Established in 2004, the Go Red for Women initiative was created to help women become more proactive in maintaining heart health. Those interested in donating can also do so online at http://www.goredforwomen.org/wearredday/donate/.

This month, KE is fundraising for its Harvest for Hunger campaign, with all monies raised going to the Cleveland Foodbank and Feeding America. KE’s Columbus branch will donate funds to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s Operation Feed campaign.

In November, KE’s male staff can participate in “Movember” – an initiative to grow mustaches to raise awareness for men’s prostate health.
