KE Kicks off Harvest for Hunger Campaign with Luncheon

Karpinski Engineering kicked off its Harvest for Hunger campaign with a luncheon held March 5 at the Cleveland office.

Tara Turner, Director of Funding for Cleveland Foodbank, spoke to KE staff about the campaign’s importance. Food was donated by local restaurants and vendors.

The campaign will run through the month of March, and all money raised will be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank. KE’s Columbus branch will donate funds to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s Operation Feed campaign. Last year, KE was able to raise more than $7,000 through various events and initiatives. This year’s goal is $10,000.

The annual campaign has always been a chance for KE staff to foster a sense of cooperation and community. We’re excited to embark on another fundraising effort to aid the fight against hunger.

Those interested can contribute by:
  • Donating a food item for our March 15 St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast at the Cleveland office.
  • Donating an item for our Silent Auction – which begins March 18 and continues through March 29. Donations are 100-percent tax deductible, and all proceeds go directly to Harvest for Hunger and the Feeding America organization. All donations are welcome and appreciated – including gift certificates, tangible items, event tickets, artwork, baskets, and more – no donation will be turned away.

For more information about ways to donate, email Jill Aron, jaron@karpinskieng.com.
